My name is Anais Reding and I love teaching Spanish at Stillwater Middle School. This is my fourth year here at SMS and I am thrilled for this 2019-2020 school year, its going to be amazing!. I am originally from the state of Nuevo Leon in northern Mexico where I grew up speaking Spanish.
When I was eleven years old my family and I moved to the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas and it was there my love for new cultures and language exploration began.
I graduated from Michigan Stare University Go Green! -- with a Bachelors of Science in Dietetics. In addition to teaching Spanish, I love learning about new cultures through music, food and fashion. I am also very passionate about nutrition, watercolor painting, hand lettering, plants and bullet journaling.
I love spending time with my husband Garett and my daughter Amelia Rose. I dream of traveling the world more and hope to be able to do that again in the near future. In the meantime, I bring the Spanish speaking world into my classroom where I get to inspire and instill in all my students respect, as well as a greater appreciation for other cultures through language learning and culture exploration.
