THE STILL REAL INK EXPERIENCE
In 2013, after receiving a 96 month sentence to federal prison, opening a tattoo studio was a dream for Curtis Alemany. His continued mentor, Efrain Rios, took him under his wing in 2014 and Curtis began tattooing on other inmates for what would be a majority of his time inside. Upon his release from prison in 2020, he would meet his future wife and work in several shops learning the ins and outs of the trade in the free world. Because of his hard work, dedication, and unshakable consistency both in and out of prison, STILL REAL INK officially opened its doors in 2025, proudly serving the Las Cruces, New Mexico community with professional, experienced tattoo services.Â
