8th Grade

There are so many exciting things to do and learn in 8th Grade! It is a year of transition, where students will excel in academics, as well as in church and community service. Students will focus on being leaders of good character.

8th grade Language Arts includes reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and vocabulary. Reading class will include a dystopian book series, a biography, a realistic fiction adventure book, and some well known short stories.

8th grade Science will focus on Physical Science, including topics such as the periodic table of elements, Newton's Laws of Motion, and much more. Students will complete "Theology of the Body" and take responsibly for a "realistic baby"! Students will display projects and scientific experiments at the "Night At The Museum".

5-7 Science

7th grade Science is all about biology. We learn about cells, mitosis & meiosis, biomes, heredity & genetics, and much more.

6th grade Science focuses on Geology, with topics such as plate tectonics, earthquakes, weathering and soil, water erosion, the water cycle, and much more.

5th grade Science covers the Human Body. We learn all about our major body systems, including the circulatory, respiratory, nervous systems, and more.

All 5-8 students display their science projects and experiments at the "Night At The Museum".
