Mrs. Gastler's 7th Grade

The 7th grade class focuses on building our vocabulary and also enhancing our writing skills by writing personal narratives, argumentative essays, informative essays, research papers, and persuasive essays. God is the main focus in our classroom and we enjoy participating in service projects and learning how God plays the most important role in our lives.

We do many exciting things in 7th grade, but a few of our favorites include:

• Creating Apple Dolls

• Kahoot

• The many novels we read including: The Witch of Blackbird Pond, The Giver, The Westing Game, The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, and My Brother Sam is Dead

• Participating in essay contests

• Creating board games to learn vocabulary

• Theology of the Body
