Field Trip Information:
Dear First Grade Family,
In our Science class the first graders will begin studying animals and their habitats. As part of this fun-filled unit, we will be
going to Brookfield Zoo on Friday, May 10th. Please follow the link below to the permission slip. Please
note that students should wear PE clothing on the field trip day. Students should also bring a paper bag
lunch with a plastic water bottle (for hydration). Teachers and chaperones will hold all water bottles, and label
them. Everything should be disposable. Lastly, students should not bring money for zoo stores on that day. Please click on the
link below to fill out the permission slip. Each classroom will be bringing 3 chaperones. If you would like to chaperone, please
fill that out on the permission slip. Chaperones will be chosen via lottery on Friday, May 3rd, and we will email parents
directly to let them know.
