The poetry of Langston Hughes is primarily for the IO. They match up well with global issues in nearly all of the bodies of work we cover. The wide range of poetic devices and narrative styles make for plenty of "authorial choices" to discuss.

We may use excerpts for practice Paper 1, but it would not be a good choice for a Paper 2 text.
