High School Updates - Mount St. Joseph
Practice Test for 6th and 7th Graders - Saturday, March 9, 2024
The Practice Test is a great opportunity for 6th and 7th grade girls to prepare for the high school application process by becoming familiar with the standardized testing process. Students take a modified test that introduces them to the topics, question types, and testing environment that they can expect on the scholarship/entrance exam in 8th grade. Register today.
7th Grade Visit Days
7th Graders are invited to schedule a personalized half-day visit to the Mount this Spring. Experience the Mount community in action, participate in two classes and advisory time, meet current students, faculty, and staff, and enjoy lunch - our treat! Visit days begin in February. Register today.
Summer at the Mount - Girls Entering Grades 5-9
Summer at the Mount showcases all the best the Mount has to offer – along with glorious summer sunshine. Each year, the Mount invites middle school girls to explore a variety of fun new experiences through immersive, hands-on camps. There is something for everyone, with camp choices ranging from STEM and various Sports to Glee, Visual Arts, and Culinary Arts.
Flexible schedules are designed to allow campers with varied interests to enroll in multiple camps and tailor their own unique experience. Camps are for girls entering grades 5-9 and run from June through August. Learn more about Summer at the Mount and register today.

I have been a part of the SGS community for approximately 16 years in various capacities. I am grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community.
I have two children. My son is in 7th grade at Shawmont and my daughter is a Sophomore at Archbishop Carroll High School. We love to travel and I love to share my experiences with my students.
