After graduating from SLU, I began my nursing career in the NICU at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.   I spent 4 years caring for critically ill infants.  After a move to Springfield MO, my nursing career took me to a pediatric office, which continued with our move back to St. Louis.  Those 10 years in the office setting were spent caring for children of all ages.   The move to school nursing at St. Gabriel fell into place at the right time for my family with my oldest starting kindergarten that fall.  I am now in my 5th year at St. Gabriel and enjoy caring for all of the students! 

I was born and raised and met my husband in Washington MO.  I moved to South City after graduating from SLU.  My husband and I spent a short time living in Springfield MO for his job, but jumped at the opportunity to move back to South City and to be near our families.  We have been married for 14 years and have 2 sons and a dog.  We are happy to be apart of the St. Gabriel community!
