Hello! My name is Eryn Thomas and I am your first grade teacher for the 25-26 school year. I graduated in May 2025 at West Virginia University with a bachelors in Elementary Education and I could not be more excited for this opportunity to be your teacher and to learn and grow.
I have worked at St. Francis the past few years as a summer camp counselor, keeper, and substitute aide. I love this school, the staff, and the relationships I have formed while working here. I am passionate about my line of work and faith which makes working here an amazing experience.
I am from Hurricane, West Virginia which is about 3 hours south of Morgantown (close to our capitol: Charleston). My mom and dad still live there with our two labs: Sadie and Scout. I have one brother who lives nearby in Morgantown with his girlfriend and their two dogs: Buddy and Apple :)
In my free time, I love to go on long walks, travel to new places, go out to eat, visit with friends, and read.
