Meet Mrs. Moore

       Welcome back to school, second grade families!  My name is Kelly Moore, and I'm currently in my 21st year of teaching.  I've taught second grade for 18 years, and third grade for 2 years. I'm so happy to be a part of the St. Francis community! 

       I graduated from Winthrop University in South Carolina with a BS in Elementary Education in 2004 and earned my Masters degree from Columbia College (in SC) in 2007.  My husband, Arthur, and I first met when I began teaching in SC, and we've been married for 18 years now.  Our daughter, Amber, is 17 years old and is a senior at Bridgeport High School, and our son, David Gunnar, is 7 years old and is in second grade here at St. Francis (in Ms. Boczek's class, of course!).  

       I absolutely love being a teacher, and look forward to the opportunity to educate and help my students learn and grow in their faith and academics!  This is going to be a wonderful year for us all!
