Jeff Sgroi Memorial Field is the home field of our varsity baseball team. The field is natural, with some of the most eccentric grass and dirt. Many consider the field to be the nicest natural high school field in the Western New York area.Â
St. Francis has access to numerous facilities for practice; on and off campus. Jeff Sgroi Memorial Field is exclusively for the St. Francis program, so it's mainly available. There are two outdoor batting cages on the property as well. SFHS also has a second field, located next to the Gacioch Athletic Center, for teams to play and practice on. When it's too cold, the team mainly practices in the spacious gym, which has a batting cage, pitching machine, and two mounds for throwing bullpens. Occasionally, the team will head to PrimeTime Sports in Lackawanna to practice. PrimeTime is a baseball indoor facility, with turf and various cages. Prior to the 2024 season, the team will have access to the Orchard Park Little League Fieldhouse, which contains a HitTrax, Rapsodo Pitching Technology, Hack Attacks, a lifting corner, and more!
