This week in reading you will read a fiction text of your choice. This may look like one of the following options:
Novel
Graphic Novel
Short story
Sophisticated picture book with text
The purpose of reading this week is to read for enjoyment understanding and challenge. Challenge yourself to read out side of your comfort zone, maybe pick a new genre.
Create - A Character Reading Web
Create - A Character Reading Web
Starting with the protagonist (main character) in the middle make a new branch for each significant character that has an interaction with them.
Come up with an adjective to describe the character using the text and your own opinion of the character.
State their relationship to the protagonist and a significant interaction they have with the main character in the text.
You can choose how you create the reading web - it may be interactive with images or a screencastify over a google drawing. Use the example as starting point if you are unsure.
