Google is credited for creating 20% time. Google employees spend 20% of their time, working on projects that are not included in their job description. As a result of 20% time we now have Gmail, AdSense and Google News. Before Google had 20% time, another company in the 1950's called 3M had '15% project' time, as a result in this time Post-its and masking tape were created.

Create a movie about fun things to do in the area to post to YouTube.
Film a how-to video, to teach other students tricks on a skateboard, bike etc.
Create a movie by writing a script, filming, and editing.
