This week in literacy we will be revising The Writing Rainbow. We will be using The Writing Rainbow in our reading and writing workshops over the next two weeks.
In our reading workshops, we will be looking for ways that the author has used the 'Fantastics' and 'Grammaristics' in their article.
Check out the following Christchurch/New Zealand based texts. Note: You only need to select one to read this week for reading.
Marine and Coastal Animals of Canterbury - pick one section to read eg. marine mammals
Make a copy of one of these texts and put it in your reading folder!
As you read your chosen text, find and highlight passages that reflect the 'Fantastics' and 'Grammaristics'. Highlight these passages with the matching colour i.e. red - feeling, orange - asking .... and then add a comment stating what you have added.
