TIDE (Teacher In-Service for DuPage Educators)
Registration Instructions
Payment for TIDE/USF partner program courses requires the following two (2) steps:
STEP ONE – register with TIDE and pay the course down-payment.
STEP TWO – submit the course registration/enrollment form with USF and pay remaining tuition balance.
Access to USF registration/enrollment will be located in the Additional Information section of the TIDE registration form. Please note that you will not have access to the course until BOTH steps of the registration process are complete.
It is requested that you complete both portions of the registration at least one month prior to the scheduled course start date.
Tuition Information
The current tuition rate for designated TIDE/USF course sections is $235* per credit hour unless indicated otherwise.
Courses taken outside designated TIDE/USF sections are billed at standard university tuition rates.
Courses offered through REAL are not eligible for federal financial assistance.
Courses offered through this Partner Program are subject to both USF and Partner policies.
Applying for Endorsements
How to Apply for an Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Subsequent Endorsement
All candidates are encouraged to begin the subsequent endorsement application process by completing the steps outlined below.
Complete an endorsement application through your ISBE Educator Licensure Information System (ELIS) account. Click here for a helpful how-to video.
When the endorsement application is reviewed by ISBE an email notification from noreplylicensure@isbe.net will be sent to the email account associated with the ELIS account. Ensure the email address associated with the ELIS account is current.
The ISBE application notification will identify any missing endorsement coursework and/or testing.
If the deficiencies are completed within the application expiration date, no additional fees will be required to earn the endorsement.
If the deficiencies are not completed within the application expiration date, an additional endorsement application will need to be submitted.
