We need business and family donations! The donated products/experiences will be offered for auction and all proceeds will go towards funding our school’s need in improving the facilities on campus. Want to help, but unsure how? Here are a few ideas:
💎 Donations from your neighborhood businesses. Do you regularly frequent your neighborhood bar/restaurant? On your next visit, ask if they’d consider donating to the annual fundraiser of your children’s elementary/middle school. Anything from a bottle of wine, gift cards or a special experience (i.e. classes, VIP access, etc) is appreciated. Monetary and in-kind donations are tax deductible.
💎 Host a Party, Experience or Class! Donate your time, knowledge and open your home while building on our wonderful parent community. Community was the #1 reason families chose SFB. Communities don’t just happen, they are built! In past years, generous parents have donated:
Tequila Tasting Party for 15 (Food and drink provided)
Hosted Duck Dinner for 6 at an SFB Family’s beautiful home
Cinco De Mayo Party for 40 (Taco Cart, drinks and activities provided)
💎 Do you work somewhere really cool? Does someone in your network have a job that a student would want to learn more about? Can you offer a special experience for a family or student? In past years, generous parents have donated:
A private tour of a popular animation studio for 4 (not available to the public)
Firehouse dinner for Party of 6 at the local station
💎 Donate time at your 2nd home or Timeshare. Are you a fortunate family with access to a 2nd home or timeshare? Donate 2 nights or a week for a family’s next vacation! Examples can include:
3 nights at Lake Tahoe home
4 nights at 2nd home in Costa Rica
💎 Donate a bottle or case of wine. Are you a member of a winery? We plan to have a blind wine grab at the event. We would appreciate wine bottle donations valued at $25+! Inquire with your winery if they would consider donation. Tax deductible!

We have provided donation request letters w/ 501c information to help you request auction items from family, friends, employers and favorite businesses. See letter templates below. Simply select the letter template you would like to use, click on File > Make a Copy.

Deadline for donations is March 15, 2023, however we will accept late donations!

Double your donation! Earn hours if your employer has a matching donation program and matches your Spring Gala donations (1 hour per $10, maximum 10 hours). Company matches are tax-deductible (St. Finn Barr’s tax ID number is 94-1156789). Email The Gala chairs at sfbauction@stfinnbarr.org with matching donations.
