athletics Fundraisers

Family support is required, essential, and vital in helping raise funds to cover the cost of the St. Finn Barr Athletics program. The purpose of the fundraisers is to help finance a solid athletics program for the school. All proceeds are invested directly along with the participation fee in the purchase of equipment, uniforms, gym rentals, coach clinics and fingerprinting, etc. 

Volunteering at these fundraisers enables participants to acquire parent service hours and bond as a community. The amount of hours eligible to be received will be stated on the event sign up. Your child does not have to play sports to donate or volunteer at the fundraisers.


The following two fundraisers are mandatory for all student-athletes, but all families are invited to participate. You do not have to be a student-athlete to qualify for all the fun prizes!

Mandatory Spring Fundraiser - See's Candy Easter Sale! 


The Athletics Program has launched its spring See's Candy Sale on Monday, February 12th, 2024. This is our final mandatory athletics fundraiser of the year. Every family whose child(ren) participated or will participate in sports for this school year (2023-2024) will be mandated to sell $300 of candy from the order sheet sent home. 

If you prefer to Buy Out of this fundraiser, the Buy Out fee of $200 is due no later than Friday, March 1st, 2024. Buy Out payments may be submitted by completing this form. The late Buy Out fee (anything submitted after Friday, March 1st) is $250.

All families selling $350 or more will automatically qualify for Shamrock Lunch & Build Your Own Sundae! (To be held in Goode Hall during school - date TBD) ☘️ 

If your child did not participate in athletics, the sale is not mandatory but all are welcome to sell chocolate and qualify for Shamrock Lunch & Build Your Own Sundae. Please note that the sale minimums are per family (not per child).

Spooky Craft Kit Sale

The Athletics department is excited to help you get in the Halloween spirit with fun Take-Home Craft Kits! Each kit is $4 and will be delivered directly to the classroom. Orders received by Thursday, October 26th will be delivered on Friday, October 27th. 


Ice cream sale

Wednesday, November 1st

You may send funds with your student(s) in an envelope and they will be assisted with their purchase.

SPAGHETTI SOCIAL

Due to a lack of interest and volunteers, the Spaghetti Social scheduled for this Friday evening has been cancelled. We will try to reschedule this event for another time in the school year.

Ice Cream Social

Join us on Friday, September 8th as we kick off the Fall season of St. Finn Barr Athletics with an Ice Cream Social!

GIFT WRAP FUNDRAISER

This fundraiser is a mandatory fundraiser for all SFB athletes and is optional for all other students. The sale will run from Thursday, August 24th to Friday, September 15th. Each family must sell $350 worth of items.


Your family may also choose to Buy Out of this fundraiser. If choosing the Buy Out option, payment of $175 is due no later than Friday, September 8th.  If the buy out payment is not received by September 8th, you must submit an order for $350 or send in a late buy out in the amount of $225.00.


Orders and payments may be submitted to the school office.
