Introduction to Google workspace for Education

What is Google Workspace for Education?:

Google Workspace for Education (formally known as G Suite for Education) is a suite of free Google tools and services that are tailored for schools. It uses our own domain name @stfinianscollege.ie.

How to Sign In?:

Students and teachers sign-in to our Workspace for Education platform exactly as one signs in to a Gmail account (see video below). All teachers are given a school email address using the first letter of their christian name followed by their surname @stfinianscollege.ie.

All new students enrolling to the school are given a school email address and password in the first week of school. Student email addresses can be distinguished from staff accounts as they all begin with the year in which they joined the school. All our current 1st year accounts begin with 2022, 2nd years 2021 etc.

Students will use their school account for all school work and communication with their teachers.
