Milestone 3.1: Implementation
Screenshot of Design
This screenshot contains the hardware that is used for our design.
In this design, we utilize a USB power bank to power a Raspberry Pi. Next, the Pi is seen using its energy to power the monitor.
The USB power bank acts as a car battery, the Raspberry Pi acts as the power grid, and the monitor will act as the item to which the consumer wishes to provide power to. In the case that the user would like to sell electricity back to the grid for payments, the monitor can be thought of an electric provider receiving the energy.
In essence, this model is a scaled-down and easy to understand version of how V2G technology works and how its implementation can be visualized for the future.
