Task 1) Read the users heart rates and blood pressure
This is the easiest of the tasks as several devices exist with this technology already implemented. This is the most important general data for patients to monitor as they age.
Task 2) Map the users heart rate and detect abnormalities
We want to chart the heart rate as it would normally appear on the vital monitor in the hospital and similarly detect any arrythmia and other abnormalities within the heart that may not be physically felt by the patient
Task 3) Make the readings continuous
Make readings a constant action rather than a one time reading or a reading that is only triggered via a button push. We want their hearts to be constantly monitored while the device is being worn as to not miss any crucial events or data
Task 4) make the device compact and wearable
We dont want any patients walking around with a big uncomfortable monitor making them feel like they are sick and in the hospital. We want them to feel comfortable and confident wearing the device
Task 5) send all data to the users phone
We want all previously recorded data to be sent to the persons phone and not just to the doctor as the patients should have insight to their own health as well so they can be prepared
