This is a simplistic design with an inserted component containing collapsible doors. The 3 doors will release dissolvable packets containing three different supplements, which will fall through the funnel and into the users cup. This design also features a power source option that poses it as a countertop device for the customer.
Although a user friendly, model the team continued to brainstorm models and techniques that can be used to accomplish the same goal for the customer.
This design includes a sliding door dispenser that releases a compact supplement capsules. The sliding door reflects the same mechanical functionality as a Pez dispenser, releasing one capsule at a time.
It includes a mixing platform to properly dissolve the capsules in water that is attached directly to the cup insert, as a reusable design that can also be considered a sustainable approach. This design was favorable among the group and was selected initially to advance to the concept selection. However, the refinement allowed us to pick out a more practical design.
This concept is a regular pill dispenser that functions using a motor to spin the containers where pill capsules would be held. This design simply dispenses the capsules into the front section shown, removing the aspect of the design that goes directly into the users cup.
The circular design was feasible for the group, and was taken into consideration for the concept refinement.
