Professor Ben Ogden

Benjamin Ogden is a professor in the School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. He founded Palaver in 2020. He is the author of Beyond Psychoanalytic Literary Criticism: Between Literature and Mind and co-author, with Thomas H. Ogden, of The Analyst’s Ear and the Critic’s Eye: Rethinking Literature and Psychoanalysis. He has written for the New York Times Book Review and the Times Literary Supplement, and has authored many articles on writers such as J.M. Coetzee, Samuel Beckett, and William Faulkner.
