The K.Lee Lab is seeking passionate and dedicated scientists!
Our multi-disciplinary research bridges Physical chemistry, Analytical chemistry, Material chemistry, and Biophysics (at both single-cell and cellular-membrane levels): We synthesize nano-sized particles, conjugate them with biomolecules (nucleic acids, proteins, and antibodies), and characterize their physical, chemical, optical properties. We also determine their ability to manipulate functions and behaviors of cells, particularly immune and neuronal cells.
We have openings for highly motivated graduate and undergraduate students (prospective post-docs are also encouraged to contact Dr. Lee for available positions).
Desirable skills (one or more preferred, but not required)
1. Nanoparticle synthesis and bioconjugation; and their characterizations
2. Imaging with fluorescence- and/or interference-based microscopy
3. Cell culture and biochemical assays
