The K.Lee Lab is seeking passionate and dedicated scientists!

Our multi-disciplinary research bridges Physical chemistry, Analytical chemistry, Material chemistry, and biophysics (at both cell and membrane levels): We synthesize nano-sized particles, conjugate them with biomolecules (nucleic acids, proteins, and antibodies), characterize their physical, chemical, optical properties, and determine their ability to manipulate functions and behaviors of cells (in particular, immune and neuron cells).

We have openings for highly motivated graduate and undergraduate students (prospective post-docs are also encouraged to contact Dr. Lee).

Desirable skills (1+ preferred, but not required)

1. nanoparticle synthesis and bioconjugation; and their characterizations

2. imaging with fluorescence- and/or interference-based microscopy

3. cell culture and biochemical assays
