Optimization
A major design feature was the addition of cushioning material between the user's grip and the force sensors. This helped to distribute pressure more evenly, reducing noise and improving the accuracy and consistency of force readings—critical for delivering reliable workout data.
Delivery
Management
Our team demonstrated effective project management by maintaining a detailed project plan, using tools such as Gantt charts, task breakdowns, and weekly progress tracking. We divided responsibilities based on team member strengths and updated our plan as new technical challenges emerged. Including delays in sensor calibration and firmware integration. These issues required us to shift our timeline and reallocate resources without compromising overall delivery. Our ability to adapt to changing requirements, such as the need to add cushioning to improve force sensor accuracy, showcased our flexibility and commitment to product quality. Despite the adjustments, we met key deadlines for prototyping, testing, and app integration. This demonstrated our capacity to manage scope, prioritize tasks, and maintain momentum, all essential elements of successful engineering project leadership.
