Problem Statement

Today’s world does not adequately meet the needs of people who are blind. These individuals often still struggle with daily tasks, such as a lack of the ability to read signage, recognizing currency, navigating streets, cleaning, and recognizing the faces of their family and acquaintances. Existing solutions, such as canes and guide dogs, do not adequately provide full-blown support that would all for full societal integration. As a result, there is a need for a more robust wearable technology that allows for blind individuals to navigate the world more smoothly, safely, and confidently.
