FIGHT OR PIVOT - Explore project ideas that utilize similar concepts and decide as a group whether to continue with NodeStitch or switch to a different project.
PURSUE - Further study the technical aspects of the project. Conduct personal learning over the course of the summer, winter break, and future semesters relating to project ideas. Study and connect various topics together to obtain a wealth of knowledge to contribute to the group. Such topics include but are not limited to python scripting, machine learning, GNU/Linux, networking, security, cloud computing.
SPLURGE - Brainstorm and compare pros & cons of various ideas; narrow down ideas to one. Investigate how our group can pursue this idea at an appropriate Senior Design level. Approach faculty advisor to aid us in our project.
CONSULT - Speak with various professors and industry professionals for guidance and recommendations regarding our ideas and its scope. Find possible sponsors.
TESTING - Further refine the product through various testing scenarios. Become white hat hackers and try to find vulnerabilities in the system.
IMPLEMENT - Build prototypes and full versions of the product using what the group has learned over the course of design classes.
