Select and integrate sensors for temperature and humidity monitoring.
Design and implement zonal control mechanisms, including dampers and valves.
Ensure compatibility between the microcontroller, RS-485 communication, and actuators.
Efficiency
Optimize energy consumption across the system to enhance sustainability.
Software Development
Implement algorithms for real-time temperature and humidity regulation.
Integrate user interface functionalities for local and cloud-based control.
Data Processing
Develop and test cloud connectivity features using MQTT for remote monitoring.

Researching
Investigate state-of-the-art zonal HVAC systems to identify innovative features.
Research energy-efficient technologies and industry standards for compliance.
Prototyping and Testing
Build and test initial system prototypes for functionality and scalability.
Validate data accuracy from sensors and performance of control mechanisms.
Lead testing to ensure user-friendliness and robustness under different conditions.
Team Assessments
Meetings with advisor, Vin D'Agostino, every 2-3 weeks to do lectures, workshops, and check-ins.
