our purpose

The purpose of the Wheaton College Sailing Club is to build community within the Wheaton College undergraduate student body. We relish the opportunity to allow students of all backgrounds to experience the magic of sailing.

Through the shared love of sailing, students can form friendships not only with sailors from the club but also with sailors across the midwest as they participate in regattas and grow in their knowledge of the sport.

The Wheaton College Sailing Club intends join both the Midwest Collegiate Sailing Association (MCSA) and the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) in the future, which will allow us to participate in regional and national regattas.
