The following page provides a detailed trip report and photos from a two-week trek that my sister and I made along the Walker's Haute Route from Chamonix (France) to Zermatt (Switzerland). This was a marvelous adventure of snow-capped Alps rising out of spectacular valleys, delightful Swiss villages and remote alp hamlets, flower meadows and fragrant forests, icy streams and majestic glaciers, and much much more.
