Gears drive the things in our everyday life! They are so subtle sometimes that you don't know that they're there. For example, have you ever thought about the gears in a bike and why those gears are the sizes that they are? We're going to be diving into gear ratios and simple/compound gear trains.
This unit will be a shorter unit, as it is a small connection to simple machines. This unit bridges our way into the compound machine design project! We'll learn how to incorporate gear trains into our compound machine.
