OUR STORY

In 2021, three classrooms from St Mary’s primary school were removed to make way for a new learning hub.  These classrooms were positioned on the opposite side of the school on parish land with the intention to convert them into an Early Childhood Centre.

This dream started becoming a reality behind the scenes in 2021 and a physical reality in 2022.  A hardworking and committed group made up of people from the Hamilton Diocese, St Mary’s primary school and the parish community created a committee and worked and fundraised tirelessly to make this centre come alive.  We officially opened on the 8th August 2022.

Stella Maris is a Community Centre and is governed by a Board of Directors.
