Meet the Teachers

Hello! My name is Gretchen Walsh.  I started teaching 6th grade at St. Elizabeth  in 2013, and I am thrilled to be teaching 3rd grade now! Before coming to St. E, I taught 2nd and 3rd grade in Topeka for six years. I live with my family in the Waldo neighborhood.  I love being a part of the St. Elizabeth community!

Hi!  My name is Cara Droege.  Before moving to Kansas City, I taught 2nd grade in Catholic schools in both Chicago and Dallas.  I was also the  K-2 Curriculum Coordinator at a Charter School in Dallas.  When my 2 sons were young, we moved to Italy for 4 years with my husband's job.  While we really enjoyed traveling and learning about new cultures together, we missed our extended family.  I am excited to begin my 8th year as a 3rd grade teacher at St. Elizabeth's!
