Congratulations our ten new 2026-2027 Innovation Fellows. They represent 3 schools and 7 departments, and their projects will have one or more areas of focus:
Thoughtful and Purposeful Use of Artificial Intelligence (8 fellows)
Post-Graduation Readiness Across the Curriculum (4 fellows)
Designing for Adult Learners and Emerging Student Profiles (2 fellows)
The Innovation Fellowship supports faculty who need time, resources, and expertise to include pedagogical experimentation in their courses. Innovation Fellows both conduct a pedagogical experiment and help grow a culture of pedagogical innovation at St. Edward’s University. Fellows participate in the Innovation Institute in May and a year-long learning community devoted to course development and pedagogical innovation.
After more than a decade of the innovation fellowship, there have been 11 cohorts, with innovation fellows coming from every school, and covering 50 subjects. More than a third (37%) of current ranked faculty have participated.
