You want to go to education.vex.com and signup on the teacher portal - tons of lessons support .
I would suggest we do:
- Robot Soccer (engineering) - we have the small soccer balls with the classroom bundles….
- It’s a Draw (arts) - manipulating pen
- Speedy Delivery (programming)
Then as time permits have them explore other units or design a classroom game challenge.
- Save the super kits for after school program when it starts.
- Grouping - 3-4 max
- STEM labs gives the kids building instruction.
- Programming - Have kids load VEXcode V5 Blocks on their Chrome books from the Chrome store - the extension has been approved by district IT.
- SpeedBot can be assembled in two-three sessions.
- I keep parts for each kit in their bin… Have kids inventory what they have at start and at end…
Parts for clubs will need other type of organization…
