Our Program

Adding Art to the original STEM framework of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, this program is uniquely structured to teach girls how to ask questions; use math to solve everyday problems; read fluently; mentor each other and create! Our thematic lesson plans are S.T.E.A.M. based, aligned with State Learning Standards, and they make learning fun. Each class is rounded out with teen mentors, robotics, homework help and social-emotional support in a safe, nurturing environment where girls can be girls.

We loosely follow this schedule every week:

• 2:30 Homework Help, Math Skill Drills

• 3:00 Meeting, Yoga/Meditation

• 3:30 Reader’s Theater

• 4:15 Science Studio

• 5:00 Healthy Dinner

• 5:30 Free Activity (building, creating, making)
