Harvest Celebrations
There will be a Harvest Eucharist Service for KS2 pupils at 9am in the school hall. Parents/friends are very welcome to join us. KS1 will hold their Harvest celebration in the school hall from 2.30pm until 3.00pm and we would be delighted if you could join us. Please be seated by 2.25pm ready for the performance to start. Due to the number of children involved we will need to limit numbers to a maximum of 2 seats per child. Reception and Nursery (EYFS) will be celebrating their harvest on Tuesday 15th October in the school hall at 9am.
Much of the focus of harvest is around being thankful for all that we have, and also thinking about those who are less fortunate than ourselves. This year, we request that the children bring in donations for Sutton Foodbank, which helps local people in crisis. Below is a list of items that the foodbank is currently requesting. Please send your donation into school with your child on Monday 14th October.
Thank you for your support.
Italian Day at St Dunstan’s! On 3rd October, the school dinner menu took on an Italian vibe. Thank you to the catering team for providing a DELICIOUS meal as always.
As you are aware, from September children have been able to wear their PE kits to school on the days they are having PE.
No PE kits will be kept in school.
Reception Children: Plain white round neck t-shirt and navy shorts, black plimsolls or black trainers. Navy tracksuit bottoms can be worn in colder weather.
Year 1 – Year 6: School branded or unbranded blue polo shirt and navy shorts, black plimsolls or black trainers. Navy tracksuit bottoms can be worn in colder weather.

Smartphones
There's a lot of talk going on right now about a smartphone-free childhood. All of this makes things very difficult for parents who want clear information to make an informed decision.
Internet Matters have lots of clear information which should be useful for parents.
