Reconciliation / Confession

Confessions are offered by appointment only. Pope Francis reminds us that a contrite heart that fully confesses its sinfulness will be forgiven by a merciful God when the intention is to attend the Sacrament of Reconciliation as soon as available. Please make an appointment with a priest by calling the Parish Office, (626) 914-3941.

Practicing good hygiene during the flu season

Our parish and school administration is following the recommendations of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles to help eliminate the spread of illness at this time. Here are some guidelines for everyone to do their part:

  • Stay home when you are sick. Contact your healthcare provider and tell them about your symptoms and your travel. Please encourage parishioners, students, parents, staff and others to stay home if they are sick and be prepared to provide accommodations that allow for employees and students to stay home.

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

  • Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol, if soap and water are not readily available, Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Limit close contact, like kissing, hugging, and sharing cups or utensils, with people who are sick.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.

  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. If you do not have a tissue, use your sleeve (not your hands).

  • Facemasks are most effective when used appropriately by health care workers and people who are sick.
