Bird Test and Bird Journal Information

Bird Test - May 2020

Students will be expected to recognize 20 birds and their calls. There will be a multiple choice test with two sections. In the first section, students will listen to the calls and select the bird name from a list. In the second section, students will identify birds in pictures, and select their names from a list.

The birds students should know can be found in the powerpoint below, and students will have created a list in class. To practice identifying their calls, go to https://www.allaboutbirds.org/ and enter the bird you'd like to listen to into the search box.

Bird Journal - Due Date TBD

Look and Listen for birds in your neighborhood. Keep track of one bird you see (or hear) on 7 different days. No more than 1 repeat bird sighting. The Journal sheet is attached below.
