About Me

Meet the Teacher!

My name is Kristi Lawton. I began working at St. Clair School in the winter of 1990 when I student taught in 6th grade. Since then, I have worked as a paraprofessional, taught physical education for 1st - 6th grade, taught second grade for 12 years, and for the next 4 years, I taught math at both the 5th and 6th grade levels. For the past 9 years, I have worked with 6th graders only, teaching math every year, and also teaching science in the years when there are only two sections of sixth grade. This year there are three sections of sixth graders so math will be the only core class I teach this year.
