My name is Ashley Nugarus. I graduated from St. Christina in 2002 and still live in the area. I love being part of the St. Christina family as an educator instead of a student! I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with my bachelor's degree in elementary education. This is my 13th year teaching. I previously taught kindergarten for 5 years before making the change to third grade. I am a very proud mom of 4. Lucy and William (Will) are 8 years old, Henry will be 4 in October, and have a new addition, Vivian.
I will be teaching Religion (room 15 only), Reading, Language Arts, and Spelling (all of third grade). Mrs. Baldwin will be teaching Social Studies, Science and Math. Please check both our pages for homework each night. I love teaching and cannot wait to have a year full of learning and fun!!!
My name is Mary Lynn Boline. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Illinois State University. I have been a Kindergarten Aide for 2 years and a PreK - 12th Grade Substitute for almost 20 years. Mrs. Nugarus has supplied me with wonderful lesson plans and ongoing support. Mrs. Baldwin has been a tremendous help to get the year started. My hope is for a smooth transition for the student when Mrs Nugarus returns. I look forward to learning with your child.
