7th and 8th Grade Social Studies
Throughout the year, students will be challenged with the task of understanding our nation's history. We will focus a majority of our time on the past history of the United States. This allows our class to determine how our past has shaped our present and how it will effect the future. Students will complete different assignments ranging from debates to current event articles in order to deepen their understanding.
8th Grade Language Arts
Throughout the year, students will challenge their writing skills with many different assignments and lessons in order to prepare them for high school. Students will use a vocabulary book along with our grammar textbook to increase their skills and writing techniques.
8th Grade Religion
In 8th grade, students will prepare for their confirmation in April. Students will learn about the sacrement of Confirmation but also learn about morals and values to prepare them for high school.
