Our Year at a Glance
This year in computers we will be reviewing and practicing the basics. K-5 will practice becoming confident Chromebook users. We will work on typing skills and introduce tools in Google apps. In grades 6-8, we will be learning and exploring Google Suites along with Google Classroom. Technology has become such a big part of our lives; my goal is to prepare the students of St. Christina with the knowledge and skills to become confident tech users. I will be focusing on proper computer usage as well as exploring the internet safely. Social media websites will not be allowed in school, but appropriate behavior will be encouraged when using them at home.
I will not assign homework unless your child is behind on an assignment. :)
About me
This is my 12th year teaching at St. Christina. I am so excited to help students learn and explore new things using technology. My goal is to have each of my students leave St. Christina with complete confidence in using all things Google.
When I'm not teaching, I'm home with my husband and three kids. All of my children attend St. Christina. My son, Will, is in 6th grade and my daughter, Ruby, is in 3rd, and my youngest, Lucy, is in Kindergarten!
