Welcome to 7th grade! Below you will find notes and reminders from me followed by the homework for each class.
***Students are required to do 5 community service hours each trimester. This will count toward their Religion trimester grade and for Confirmation. Service hours will be offered through out the year at St. Chris. We are looking for true service and not babysitting siblings and cousins.
**** Please check the websites of the Non AOP school for their visitation days. This will also count as an absence. Please try to schedule them on our off days if possible. You are required to make up any work when you return.
~7th Grade Religion (7th Period) Study Chapter 1 review notes and highlighted material in the Religion books. This is the material that will be on the test. We will test tomorrow (Friday).
Literature/Reading ( 2nd Period) : Study Lit terms for test tomorrow on Friday.

Listening and Speaking Our goal is to get the students discussing topics a little longer each time. We are also working on listening assignments. This skill will help them in highschool and college. It is important to learn to write essays, but to write notes in shorthand as well.
We are working on our speaking infront of others.
When speaking please remember to greet your audience, look at your audience, speak slow, loud, and clear. Pause if you need to gather your thoughts. Do not rock back and forth, do not stand with your hands in your pockets. Please remember when you are speaking to put yourself after others and use the correct pronouns. Be mindful of your time. Remember to thank your audience when finished.
