On the following pages, I will provide information for you to access throughout the school year pertaining to the class you are in.
About me:
Traveling is important to me. Seeing how I live and how my culture functions vs how other cultures live and what is different between us is what keeps me going. I love learning about all of our differences.
I have provided a map of where I have gone in the world. I am adding places every year. It is our family mission to learn about as many cultures, lifestyles and language differences as we can. And then we always love coming back home.
I enjoy adding culture of all kinds into our classroom to expand our world from what we know.
Credentials:
I am a Nationally Board Certified Teacher of French and Google Level 1 and Google Level 2 Certified. I have been teaching since 1996 and I've been at SCSD since 2007. I believe in a Comprehensible Input based approach in the classroom to acquire language. Here is a video on what CI does.
How do you learn a language?
