The school day:

At 8.40 the children arrive and complete their morning work, this is usually handwriting and on a Friday it is a mindfulness activity.

We then have Maths and Literacy lessons in the morning. During this lesson we have an extra adult to support children's learning.

The children have an afternoon play at 2:15pm and we finish the day with a story and a class prayer.

Reading: The children will bring home two books from their book band. Some of the book should be read each day.

Spellings: The children will have a spelling test each week and as part of their homework they are expected to learn these words.

Google Classroom: This homework includes a Maths activity, writing activity and some extra well being type activities. Sometimes the activity will based on their topic learning, for example a project about Australia.
