Advising For Faculty

The session will review the best practices and resources utilized by the Academic Advising & Transfer Center in order to assist our students as they navigate their academic studies here at STCC. Come learn more about the overall Advising process while gaining some tips about how to better manage the flow and rhythm of advising students. This session will be followed by a Q&A – so please do come with some general questions or scenarios that you would like to share with the group.
Presenters:
Richard Greco is Dean of Liberal and Professional Studies, holds an AA from STCC, a BS in Biochemistry and a BS in Human Biology from American International College, and an MS in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Saint Joseph. He is pursuing a doctorate in public administration at West Chester University.
James Lightfoot III is the Coordinator of the Academic Advising & Transfer Center. James holds a bachelor's degree in Public Administration and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management and Leadership. James has served the Academic Advising and Transfer Center for 9 years and Nonprofit/ Education Program Development for over 15 years.
