This session time will be used to expand upon the topics that each of our Strategic Planning Task Force subgroups (Equity, Partnerships and Innovations, Process/ Functions/ Operations, Resources, Students and Stakeholders, and Technology/ Technical) have been reviewing through the strategic planning process to-date.
Subgroup representatives will share findings, recommendations, and impact statements that have been developed from their research.
Our next step in the strategic planning process will be to review our future impact statements, and work on our strategic goals. We will discuss how our work to-date will now be used to determine our strategic goals.
Presenters:
Dr. Shai Butler, Vice President for Advancement & External Affairs. Dr. Shai is a leader with over 25 years of experience across a variety of higher education institutions who has been appointed by President Cook to Co-Chair the strategic planning process. Prior to coming to STCC she served as the Vice President for Student Development at The College of Saint Rose. She served as Chair of the New York State ACE Women’s Network, is a current board member for the Center for Women in Government & Civil Society and is an executive contributor for the global industry publication, Higheredjobs.com
Eileen Cusick, Co-Chair of the Strategic Planning Task Force is a professor in the Business Department and teaches office and information technologies-related courses. She started at STCC in 1992, in the IT Department, and transitioned to full-time teaching in 2014. Eileen’s career experience includes positions in the telecommunications industry, desktop publishing, and at the Smithsonian Institution. Eileen holds an MBA (Information Systems), and a MAMT (Mathematics) from WNEU.

Javon D. Brame (pronouns he/him/his), Javon is a seasoned higher education leader known for his ability to help institutions improve results and achieve institutional excellence.
Kevin David, Ph.D. Executive Account Director. Kevin is a seasoned higher education executive whose experience both in the classroom and in administrative leadership roles gives him broad insight into institutional operations and a uniquely personal understanding of student needs.
Samantha Kessler, Institutional Research & Reporting Consultant. Samantha has extensive experience providing institutional research support in higher education environments.
