In this conversation, STCC’s Equity Leaders & Guides panelists will talk with Mary-Ann Winkelmes about the challenges and successes they experienced when bringing TILT to STCC students
Presenter:
Dr. Mary-Ann Winkelmes (she/her/hers), is the Founder and Director of the Transparency in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education project (TILT Higher Ed). She has worked with faculty and staff at hundreds of schools on four continents where TILT promotes small changes to teaching and institutional planning that yield large gains for equity in student success.

Dr. Emilie Clucas Leaderman (she/her/hers), is the Assistant Dean of LAPS. As an educator, she supports learner-centered teaching and elevating student voices through data-guided decisions. Emilie co-leads the Equity Leaders & Guides Project here at STCC.

Anthony Rondinelli holds an AS degree in business from STCC, a BS degree in business from WSU, and two MBA degrees from WNEU. Anthony Rondinelli, STCC alumni class of 1992, is a professor within the business administration department here at STCC. Professor Rondinelli holds an AS degree in business from STCC, a BS degree in business from WSU, and two MBA degrees from WNEU, as well as several professional certifications. Anthony is an Equity Leader & Guide (EL&G).
Christina Atwater (she,her) is a professor in the Business Administration department. She has her MBA from WNE and her Certificate in Higher Education Leadership and Management from UMASS Amherst as well as 15 PhD credits in Organizational Leadership. She serves as the Co-Chairperson of the All-Unit Congress and has served in roles on the Curriculum Committee, the NECHE 10-year Self-Study Accreditation committee, Strategic Planning committee, a member of the AIA, a member of EL&G, and served as the chairperson of the FYE committee.
Kelson Ettienne-Modeste, MD., is an Associate Professor of Biological Sciences in the School of STEM. Joined STCC over a decade ago and is dedicated to UDL and equity in education.
