A Warm Welcome from our Headteacher

Croeso i'n hysgol. Welcome to our school.

It is a privilege to serve as the headteacher of this happy and successful school. St Cadoc’s is a very special place and I am blessed to be able to call this school my home.

St Cadoc’s is a thriving Catholic Primary school nestled in the heart of Llanrumney. Opening in 1958, our school has served the Parish of St Cadoc’s for over 60 years; providing an excellent, faith based education for children ages 3 to 11.

We are a community made up of amazing children, supportive parents, hard working staff and a committed Governing Body. Adults and children in our school love and take care of one another and in our daily life we try to reflect the Gospel values in everything we say, do and think. Members of our school and visitors alike are all part of the St Cadoc’s family. We have strong links with our Parish church of St Cadoc’s and are part of the worshiping community.

Our school vision strives for all children to be able to achieve high academic standards and grow in the virtues of the St. Cadoc’s Pupil Profile. Our children work hard every day to become the best they can be as a capable, ethical and informed citizen of Wales.

At St Cadoc’s we are a knowledge rich school. We believe that children should have a wide range of knowledge, skills and experiences in a broad range of areas of learning. We help children to think deeply about what they learn and we strive for them to become experts in each domain of learning they encounter. Our children love to talk about what they know and demonstrate this across our exciting new Curriculum.

Our Mission at St Cadoc’s is to Pray together, Learn together, Play together and Grow together. Our website will give you a glimpse into all aspects of how we live out this mission and vision each day.

Visits to our school are welcomed, so please come to see us and find out about the modern education we can provide.

Many thanks for visiting.
