Make sure you are always recycling and disposing of trash properly because a lot of litter from all over the world ends up in the ocean. 

The NOAA Fisheries is a US Government-owned website that works to preserve coral reefs mainly around the Pacific Islands. Their page includes lots of information if you are interested in learning more.

Grab some friends and go on an adventure of picking up trash! Even if you can't get to the ocean, it's still really helpful to pick up some litter wherever you are!
